Caprese Salad

Yep, this is one of the real food recipes in the For Those Who Hate to Cook section, but it is about the easiest real food you'll ever make and is incredibly delicious. I eat it every chance I get. It’s incredibly refreshing and you can use it as a pre-dinner salad or as the main course. Plus, there is no stove involved, which means I won’t burn myself (as I often do) and neither will you.

My suggestion is to go to one of those fancy food stores for the ingredients. Whole Foods™, Trader Joe's™, Sprouts™, whatever you have in your neck of the woods. The fact is that a salad with hardly any ingredients and without ranch dressing smothering it needs to have good quality products in it. The hot-house tomatoes at your local market usually taste like spray-painted Styrofoam. Get the good stuff for this salad. Plus, a regular store may not have the right kind of mozzarella cheese, so to ensure only one trip to the store (because who in the heck wants to go to two stores?), just go to the good one first.
